New website, first post. Let me begin by stating that I took the name of my website VERY seriously, and I intentionally called it “DECADES to Wealth” for a very good reason – I believe there are no shortcuts to getting achieving financial independence, and that it takes time. I am NOT, and never will, tell you that you can turn $1,000 into some greater amount in a few short weeks, or days, or hours. Can it be done? Sure. But Bitcoin at the right time. Get a lucky break on a stock investment. Win the lottery. Get a large inheritance. But for the rest of us, how do we do it? Persistent, consistent, smart investing over time. It’s tried and true. However, on that path, there are a nearly infinite number of paths you can go down. Right roads. Wrong roads. Roads that look right and are wrong. Roads that look wrong and are right. So, I put the word “decades” in my website title, and capitalized it, to remind you, and even me, that it takes time to achieve your long-term financial goals.
My goal is to give you advice from my experiences. My wins. My losses. What worked for me. What didn’t.
What I will discuss won’t be for everyone. If you’re looking to day-trade FOREX, or Bitcoin, or try to get an after-hours buy in on whatever stock Jim Cramer hit the “buy” button on during his live evening show, then you probably won’t get much from my site. However, I am not saying don’t do any of those things. What I will advise if making such a small part of a larger wealth portfolio for yourself, and making it a smaller part of your portfolio as you get older.
Does it sound like what I have to say may be for you?
Then follow me on my journey.
