Personal financial advice for those who already know personal finance.

About me
I’m a CPA with 30 years of experience. I bought my first investment at age 15 (with the help of my father and the Uniform Gifts to Minors (UGMA) Act), and have been a student of the market, and personal finance, even longer. I used to get home from elementary school and run down to the beach to collect aluminum cans from the trash cans before the truck came along to empty the cans. I sold “Grit” newspapers. I’ve been working and saving for decades. I’ve had wins. I’ve had losses. I’ve spent money brilliantly. I’ve spent money foolishly. And I will be honest in telling you my own experience and give my thoughts and advice.
I’ve started this website because I’ve noticed a gaping hole between the websites that tell you how to save $547/year on homeowner’s insurance and how to budget your money to get you out of an insane amount of student loans, versus the websites that try to sell you financial advice and portfolio management for 1-2% of your investment balances annually, versus those Facebook and Instagram ads promising you to turn $1,000 into $10,000 in days with Bitcoin, FOREX trading, or something else. Where were the tools and advice for people who knew how to live within their means, who knew how to set up their own investment accounts at a discount broker and preferred to manage it themselves, but would just like some tips, thoughts, and advice from someone who’s been there/done that, and may be able to give just one or two words of wisdom to help you move further on your journey to financial wealth and independence?
I hope this website will be exactly that for you.
